Originally Bisbee's Zoo, The Thirsty Lizard is a gay-owned cowboy/biker bar and restaurant on 20 acres located just outside of town.
 
With sweeping views stretching for miles, it's a world away from city life, but just a 7-minute drive to town.
The Thirsty Lizard is allowing dry camping for Mineshaft Weekend.

BASIC INFORMATION



CHECK IN

Anytime after 3PM on Sunday June 16

LENGTH OF STAY 

Your campsite rental is from June 16 to June 30

RV OR TENT CAMPING 

You rent the space, its up to you to do with it what you want.
 

 

OCCUPANCY 

There are no restrictions on how many people may share your campsite, as long as it fits.
 

 

FACILITIES
There are public restrooms in the bar/restaurant available during business hours, typically noon-10PM and midnight Friday and Saturday. There are no showers.

 

UTILITIES

This is "dry camping," there are no water, electricity or sewer connections. There is an on-site dumpster. Grey water must be disposed of off-site.

PETS ARE ALLOWED

Your four-legged friends are welcome but you are responsible for their behavior, you must clean up after them and be aware that there are wild animals such as coyotes and rattlers that you must protect them from. 


NO FIRES

This is fire season, so outdoor cooking is permissible but campfires are prohibited.
